my process

let's meet

Normally, I'd meet you and your partner over coffee; however, covid is still here, SO let's zoom or phone call! You'll get to tell me all about you both and what you have planned for your wedding day. A personal connection is important to me!

let's plan

Once everything has been confirmed, I'll be here anytime you need to touch base. Call, text, or email me if you want to update me or have some questions. We'll meet a couple of nights before to make sure everyone is on the same page.

wedding day

We start photographing in the morning, guys and gals, and continue through to the ceremony, family/friends & bridal party, just the two of you, and then onto the reception & party! That's just a snippet of a typical full-day wedding day.

edit, edit, edit

All your images are individually processed, colour corrected, edited, and cleaned up, then finally uploaded to your own online gallery to view, download & share. I usually edit through 2000+ images!

delivery

The fun part because you get to see and hold your images, whether on photo paper or your custom designed album! All my collections include prints because that's what photography is about - printing your images!

a collection of my favourite images

Every couple and every wedding is unique!

I want to make sure that I'm the right photographer for you, so I'd love to hear more about you both and your story!

My collections are hourly-based and include items such as an engagement session, albums, and prints. Collections begin at 2,200.

Fill out the contact form, and I'll be in touch within a day.

Prints Matter

We live in a digital world; images are posted on Instagram or Facebook and often forgotten. Other photographers will send you digital images on a thumb drive, and after a few years, the files begin to corrupt, or worse, you lose the stick - yikes!

Your wedding photos should be preserved and displayed with elegance. Physical albums and prints matter more now, as many of our "digital" memories fade away and are lost.

All of my collections include prints, so you'll be able to display your wedding day beautifully!

Albums

This isn't your parent's three-ring wedding album.

Heirloom Albums are carefully crafted with images printed directly onto thick photo-quality flush-mount pages. This means your photos are sharp, vibrant with deep blacks, and with the option of panoramic printed images!

Holding your images is an entirely different experience than viewing them on your smartphone or laptop. They come to life!

Wall Prints

Choosing your favourite image from your wedding day to use as a feature image in your home is the perfect finishing touch!

Seeing your favourite image every day can strengthen your marriage. Looking at printed photos of you and your partner together helps increase the reflection on the happy memories.

A large wall print is simply stunning!

FAQ's

What precautions are you taking during COVID-19?

As of June 12, 2020, the Ontario Government has permitted commercial photography services to resume! My assistant and I will pre-screen ourselves before attending your wedding. If cleared, all equipment will be sanitized, and we will be wearing face masks. At all times, I remain at least two meters from anyone being photographed. A close family member from your household will be asked to help fix hair/the dress/attire when needed. In most cases, wedding photography will be able to continue as it was pre-COVID.

Do you travel?

YES (I LOVE to travel)! My primary coverage area serves South Eastern Ontario but I will travel anywhere, why wouldn't I.

Will there be a second photographer?

For weddings, yes. Weddings are large events, and it can be almost impossible to capture every moment if I'm alone. That's why I like to work with a trusted second shooter who can capture those moments happening away from the main event and assist me.

What kind of gear do you use?

I use only professional-grade cameras, lenses, lighting, and other accessories/equipment. This guarantees large crystal clear images with vivid colours that will take your breath away.

What happens if new COVID-19 restrictions are put into effect?

If new Government and local Health Unit restrictions are put into effect, and this prevents you from holding your wedding as planned, you have options! #1: We can reschedule for a different date/year if my availability permits. Please get in touch ASAP to discuss. If dates do not line up (venues, vendors, family etc.) and I'm booked, original contract terms will apply. #2: You keep your original wedding date but have downsized how many people are attending due to new gathering restrictions. This forcibly changes the hours of coverage you would require, and we can re-adjust your package based on yor new plan.

Do I have to purchase prints through you?

While I highly recommend that you do, you do have the option to print your own. Why print through me? Colour calibration. My camera, monitors, and editing software are calibrated to show accurate and true colours. This allows me to ensure that what I see is what will be printed. Many printing places automatically place an "auto correct" setting to your prints, which completely skews your images' colours.

How do we book you for our wedding?

Please fill out the contact form or send me an email with any questions you may have. I will send full collection details and costs; once these are agreed upon, I require a $250 non-refundable deposit to secure your date in my calendar.

Do you offer video services?

No. While I do have a vast film production experience I have decided to hone my skills in photography. However, I do know many very skilled creators who I've worked with on past projects that would be able to capture your day. Get in touch and I'll be happy to connect you.
