Hi, I'm Jacob!
Photographing weddings since 2008, I've been fortunate to capture some remarkable moments. Since my photography journey began, I've worked with hundreds of individuals and couples to national brands; and had my work internationally published. Photography is my creative outlet. My goal is always to go above and beyond and make sure you're thrilled with your images!
I'm excited you're here!
My grandfather photographed my mother's wedding.
My father was a hobby enthusiast.
I have been photographing since 2008.
Photography runs in the family!
I don't like having my picture taken...
Yes, yes, I don't like being in front of the camera. I'd much prefer being behind the lens any day. So if you're camera shy, I GET IT. Don't worry though! Whether we're photographing portraits or your wedding, we'll be having a conversation, I'll be making lame puns - you'll forget the camera is even there!
How it all started...
My love for photography began with my dad's 35mm film camera, specifically the Canon AE-1, in the picture. For my 8th Birthday, my parents bought me a Crayola Flash camera (it used Kodak 110 film), and I spent my entire Birthday photographing it and not participating in any activities. I guess some things don't change.
COLOUR! Yes, I love colour in my images and shy away from the trendy creamy/desaturated look. I edit my images individually by hand (or eye) using professional tools and don't use any Instagram-ish filters to make a quick job of it. I believe your images should stand the test of time, look great now and 50 years down the road.
I love to travel!
I've driven across Canada twice and began to check off the travel bucket list (Whistler, Seattle, Palm Springs, Portland, Chicago, Flordia, PEI, NB), but alas Covid-19 has put a hold on any international travel for now. So, in the meantime, I explore my backyard and Ontario!

This is my baby. Okay not a real baby, but nothing beats summer drives in this car - it's a 2013 Mustang. If your wedding is between the months of March and October, guarantee I'll be arriving in this. Easy to spot, and you'll know I'm there and ready!
As stated above, I love colour. Blue is my favourite!
