THE BELVEDERE HOTEL - BATHHOUSE SPA

This project showcased the distinctive character of the Belvedere Hotel's new Bathhouse Spa, where the historic limestone foundation and contemporary wellness spaces come together to create a unique guest experience. The irregular geometry of the original masonry required particularly careful composition to ensure each image felt balanced while remaining true to the character of the building.

The spa's intentionally dark, atmospheric environment called for a thoughtful lighting approach. Balancing natural daylight with warm architectural lighting, accent LEDs, and underwater illumination allowed the spaces to be photographed in a way that preserved their ambience while maintaining accurate colour and detail.

The final phase focused on the newly completed outdoor bathhouse, photographed in both daylight and after dark to showcase the property's distinctly different daytime and evening experiences.
